Andrew Fleming

Born and raised in Ottawa, Andrew recently moved to Toronto after spending time studying and working in St. Catharines. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Theatre at Brock University. While attending Brock he acted in various one act plays including Pizza: A Love Story and Jane Andersons Tough Choices for the New Century. He played Patrice Bombelles in a mainstage production of Jean Anouilh’s Ring Round the Moon (dir: Virginia Reh) and Bobby Gould in Mamet’s Speed the Plow (Leg Kick Theatre). Andrew has also directed The Web (Eugene O’Neil), assistant directed Weiss’ Marat/Sade (dir:Virginia Reh), as well as Mamet’s American Buffalo (dir: Kelly Daniels, Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects). Andrew also likes the musical and aural side of life. He likes to jam (particularly on the guitar) and looks forward to emerging as a musician. For the stage, he has worked as a sound designer on a devised production titled The Game of Life, the aforementioned American Buffalo and as an assistant on Smash! (Jeffrey Hatcher) – directed by Gyllian Raby. His musical theatre credits include Ghost Light Projects recent production of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (dir: Penelope Corrin); he also played Simon Zealottes in a staging of Jesus Christ Superstar(Brock Musical Theatre). Andrew is extremely grateful for the love and endless support from his family and friends while he begins a career in the arts.
